Job Description
Cape Fear Valley Legacy Pediatrics is Cape Fear Valley Health’s latest addition to its pediatric care team. It is a practice with 5 providers and two locations in Fayetteville and Spring Lake, NC. We are recruiting a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our provider team. The qualified candidate must be committed to compassionate, high-quality, community-based healthcare and building long-term relationships with parents, children, and staff based on trust.
This position is full-time, 4.5 days per week. The hours are 8 am- 4:30 pm Monday – Thursday and 8-12 on Fridays. Our providers work in a well-supported office environment to provide preventive, acute, and chronic care to children aged 0-18. Our APPs usually see 18 patients per day in a combination of sick and well visits. Call is rotated among the providers on a weekly basis. The call consists of answering patient questions and being available for any urgent lab results by phone only. No inpatient call is required. The preferred candidate will be a board certified PNP or PA-C.
You will work in the primary care setting treating acute illness and performing well-visits. The clinic is staffed by Dr. Ana Hodges, a pediatrician with over 30 years’ experience, who will provide personal pediatrics training on the job when you join their practice.
