Job Description

Cardiothoracic Surgery Associates (CSA)  is a highly skilled team dedicated to providing personalized care and support to patients and their families in Southwest Ohio. Their exceptional providers and experienced  staff devote quality time to each patient, offering compassion, clear communication, and respect.

• CSA is seeking a PA (or NP with 1st-assist experience)  for a full-time position in cardiac surgery  at Miami Valley Hospital  -- the area's only level-1 trauma center.

Although experience in cardiac  surgery, cardiology, or critical care is preferred, candidates with experience in other areas will also be considered. Both new-grad and experienced providers are welcome to apply.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm
• Call: 1/6 for OR/consults (call isn't in-house)
• Weekend: every 6th for OR/rounding/call

Clinical Responsibilities

• Collaborate w/ surgeons and other APPs
• Manage patient caseload
• First-assisting; conduit-harvesting; beeper call/
• Rounding; consults
• Procedures: lines; removal of chest tubes, pacing wires, IABPs
