Lifepoint Behavioral Health in partnership with Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital  is seeking a Medical Director for their 36 bed inpatient behavioral health unit for adults in White Hall, AR. The Medical Director will collaborate with the Program Director and the entire clinical team to provide medical direction in conformance with the facility's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Joint Commission. Candidates will need to have completed a Psychiatry residency and board certification is preferred. Enjoy a busy practice with a flexible schedule in close proximity to Little Rock!

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school doctoral program required; completed residency in Psychiatry, board certification preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in hospital based psychiatric practice or outpatient psychiatric practice preferred

License: Current unencumbered medical doctor licensure in the state applicable to the facility

Additional requirements: Successful credentialing with facility.
