We are seeking a well-trained, collegial physician comfortable in all areas of medical dermatology to be part of our established dermatology department. We are consistently growing and expanding our program, and our dermatology department is excited about the future. Our established modern practice maintains a patient centered approach through electronic medical records and a highly efficient support staff.
This position is open to new and experienced physicians who are board certified or board eligible.

THE PRACTICE:
Our private practice is multi-specialty, located in Greenville, NC, with 12 offices located in and around the area. We offer pulmonary CC, rheumatology, emergency medicine, dermatology, oncology, family medicine, endocrinology, infectious disease, internal medicine, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, gastroenterology and surgery. Our 100 providers and over 620 employees provide services for thousands of patients in a 29 county region. Our doctors are on staff at Vidant Medical Center, a 900 + bed level one trauma center and the primary teaching hospital for the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine (ECU-BSOM).
The practice setting allows for frequent interactions with other providers and same day patient consultations daily to facilitate patient care. The referral base of over 29 counties in Eastern NC ensures a steady supply of new patient consultations.
THE COMMUNITY:
Greenville is a lovely college town with a population of about 100,000, located in the eastern coastal region of North Carolina only 80 miles from Raleigh. The economy and culture of Greenville are dominated by the presence of East Carolina University, a 29,000-student campus of the University of North Carolina system. The music and performing arts departments of the University are very strong and every year there are numerous high quality musical and theatrical productions involving both ECU faculty and distinguished visiting performers.
We are not far from North Carolina beaches, with Atlantic Beach only 78 miles away. Many members of the Greenville medical community have vacation homes or condominiums at the beach. In addition, the large rivers and estuaries of eastern North Carolina are nearby and are ideal for all types of boating and water sports.
