Job Description

St. Joseph Regional Medical Center  a Level III Trauma Center is seeking a full-time  General Surgeon  in Lewiston, ID. Duties include surgery clinic, operating room and on-call services. Clinic patient volume is around 60 per week, with opportunity for expansion. Surgical procedures are a typical mix of general surgery, endoscopy, and emergency/trauma cases. On-call services entail general surgery, trauma call, plus rounding on surgery patients. Growing primary care base with seasoned clinic staff. Strong Anesthesia team, IR, Radiology and ancillary services. 

Located in northern Idaho, Lewiston is surrounded by mountains, rivers, rugged wilderness. Access to hunting, fishing, skiing  and mountain biking. There are two public universities located within 30 minutes. Lewiston offers a safe, family-friendly community, with little to no traffic. Lewiston has one small regional airport with an international airport located 1.5 hrs away in Spokane, WA.
