Job Summary:
CarePartners and Mission Health is seeking a Hospice and Palliative Care Medical Director to lead our interdisciplinary team and provide the medical management of hospice and palliative patients across Mission, CarePartners, and our Sister Hospitals in HCA's North Carolina Division.
Qualified Candidates:
- Experience in end of life care and/or training
- Medical director or associate medical director experience preferred
- The incoming candidate certifies and recertifies our patients' eligibility for hospice, including face-to-face visits (in-home and facility settings) and provides palliative care consults as necessary.
- Will supervise the associate medical directors, NPs, and will participate in the development of formulary, policies and procedures
- Please note that this position does not offer visa support
