Job Description
The Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP)/Hospitalist - Nocturnist provides high quality Hospitalist care within the scope of his/her licensure requirements, assesses patients independently and works in collaboration with back-up physician Hospitalist for any concerns. This care should be comprehensive, coordinated, and patient and family-centered to achieve clinical and service excellence. Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or AMA approved Physician Assistant program required. Internal Medicine specific program/focus preferred. 3 years experience in Emergency or Hospitalist medicine required. Licensed by NH Board of Nursing or Board of Medicine as Physician Assistant required. Must possess valid narcotics registration (DEA number) and ACLS certified required.
