Job Description
The Cape Fear Valley Health Trauma Team is seeking to add additional Advance Practice Providers to their team. Seeking a candidate with 3-5 years of experience. The schedule consists of 3, 12-hour shifts per week, including rotating weekends. Shifts are from 7 am - 7 pm. Experience with central line and chest tube placement preferred. Prior Operating Room experience not required but is a plus. The ED it the busiest in North Carolina, and one of the top 13 busiest in the nation, treats 95k adult and 35k pediatric cases annually. It is designated a Level III Trauma Center. Our providers perform a wide variety of surgery, including minimally invasive procedures for acute and chronic conditions as well as acute care surgery. DaVinci XI on site. This position will be a mix of cases. About Cape Fear Valley Health Cape Fear is an active Trauma, Stroke, and Heart Center and enjoys top performer status in several of its disease-specific certifications—providing quality care to over 140 thousand patients per year in our Adult and separate Pediatric Emergency Departments. Approximately 110-plus physician hours per day and 110-plus APP hours per day are used to staff the departments.
