Job Description
As I said before, Dr. Rivers is looking for either a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join our practice. We are not set up for pediatrics. It would not be fair to them or to us. He would prefer someone who has ties to Florida and if they are married, the spouse would be able to find gainful employment somewhere close as this would make it easier on them. I think you probably know The Village Charter Schools are great. I think you probably know this but The Villages is about 1 1/2 hours North of Orlando and about 1 1/2 hours North Northeast of Tampa. We are centrally located in the state and we are about 90 minutes to either coast.
The Villages is a thriving retirement community so needless to say, an interest in geriatric medicine would be a plus although as I said earlier, we are moving forward to start targeting the working population here.
We currently have (3) MDs, (1) PA, and (1) NP.
Family or internal
Md or do, be or bc but must become bc within 1 year of joining, clean record, no Visa
1 position open however would consider more
1 location but if more than 1 provider added then we would open additional locations
Monday thru Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-3
Telephone call only rotates every 2 weeks between 3 drs 100% outpatient, no OB
Adults, 80% very active geriatric
25-30 patients a day 30 minutes for new patient, 15 minute followup, (will provide scribe if wanted)
eClinical works emr
$200-$250k depending on experience, guaranteed for 2 years, productivity bonus of 50% office visits receipts Potential to earn $325k
We provide malpractice insurance
We give a $1000 a month insurance allowance
Cme allowance of $1000
Pto is 3 weeks for first 2 years, after they can take up to 4 weeks however at that point they would be strictly productivity so it would effect their income
