Residency Director
 Health Services of Clarion is currently seeking a Residency Director of our established Family Medicine Residency program.

We are seeking a dynamic leader who can advance the specialty of Family Medicine within the Clarion Hospital Community and continue to maintain our highly regarded residency program in the area. The successful physician will demonstrate solid leadership skills and possess a strong passion for teaching. The Program Director:
Must be Board Certified in Osteopathic Family Practice and Manipulative Treatment by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
 Be a member of the ACOFP
 Shall have no less than three years of family practice experience (not including time as a resident)
 The Program is a member of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine OPTI.
 
Clarion’s postdoctoral programs are part of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine OPTI. The internship program started in 1984 and the family medicine residency program began in 1989. Our program has graduated over 30 Family Medicine specialists over the years. As Program Director the physician will be responsible for strategic planning and general administration of the residency program, including activities related to the recruitment, selection, instruction, supervision, counseling, evaluation and the advancement of residents.
 
Our program is approved for 4 OGME-1 family medicine positions plus 3 traditional rotating internship spots, 4 OGME-2 and 4 OGME-3 family medicine positions. Currently we have filled 11 of our 12 residency slots and 2 of the 3 traditional internship slots. Our residents currently see their own panel of patients in a new state of the art clinic that is steps away from the Clarion Hospital.
