A 71 physician OB/GYN Management group seeks to hire a highly motivated, BE or BC OB/GYN physician for an employed laborist position at South Jersey's premier maternity hospital.

 

The laborist will contribute to the operational efficiencies of the private office based by affording them the opportunity to remain in their office for the duration of an office session even when one or more of their patients presents in the hospital in active labor.

 

The right physician for this opportunity should be extremely comfortable with the provision of obstetrical services on a busy, fast-paced labor and delivery unit. The physician will be responsible for monitoring patients' labor augmentation and intravenous or regional anesthesia, placement of Cervadil or other ripening agents as requested by private physicians

and providing emergency services on the L&D floor (including STAT sections) when necessary.

 

The physician must also present exemplary communication skills and will be expected to maintain open, informative lines of communication with private attending physicians.
