There are 6 Gis, of which 4 are employed by the hospitals (there are 2 big hospitals).  There are 2 independent - him and another, and the other is trying to get an employment contract with the hospital and he might be the only one left standing after.  Hes booked out a couple weeks, but wants to slow down and take some time off.  It would be a good place, esp a new guy to come in.  Has own surgery center, own referrals and pretty busy.  BUT he wants to slow down.  Wants someone to allow him to take time off – but right now he cant say no to primary docs.
